How to use AI to help with traditional assignments – Guide for Students

Attention students and teachers: here’s a guide to leveraging AI for traditional assignments in an ethical way. 

It’s designed to guide students on how to benefit from using Generative AI tools as a kind of virtual tutor while still learning and developing their own skills.

I developed it for traditional essay, report, and presentation assignments that haven’t yet been adapted for Gen. AI. I’m drawing from my experiences assisting students who are eager to do the right thing using these tools but aren’t receiving adequate guidance from their instructors and/or institutions.

I’ve also included a matching Sample Prompts guide and simple print-friendly version.
