AI literacy is becoming the newest part of digital literacy as businesses, schools, and other organizations realize the urgent need to upskill people on generative AI tools such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Microsoft’s Copilot, and Google’s Gemini. AI literacy includes knowing about AI tools and how to use them, being safe and ethical when using AI, and critically evaluating AI-generated content. The AI Literacy Institute aims to provide research-backed guidance and a curated collection of resources to support AI literacy for all.
